Is there a toggle to run option on PS4?

Possibly. I'll check later. Still not ideal though!

So I’m into the epilogue now.

It was a good solid ending to Arthur’s journey. The script and voice acting has been first rate, so the finale had a good emotional punch to it.

I had thought I’d be visiting Blackwater at some point during the storyline so I never ventured down there. Now I’m playing as someone else it’s not a dead or alive zone anymore so I guess I’ll get to ride down at some point.

Definitely going to play both the epilogue chapters.

You can still explore the map after the end credits, so I popped down south into somewhere altogether more Mexican. There's a couple of towns and a lot of desert, but no actual activities that I can see. As I've completed
John's redemption arc (of sorts) and have a family to look after
I'm not inclined to engage in anymore robbin' and murderin', so I think I can safely conclude my time in RDR2.

The story continues in RDR but I'm never likely to play that. Apparently it was pretty good for the time but doesn't stand up particularly well now.

Hoping for a RDR3 at some point, although probably not for a couple of years after GTA6, whenever that's due.

It's worth buying, although it still looks a bit pricey on PC.

Remember when you could just download every new game for free, 2 days before it was even released?

I miss those days.

I don't come here very often, much less start a thread, but was surprised not to find an RDR2 thread.

Anyhoo...

I finally took the plunge and bought it after 2 years (£37 on Epic Games sale).

Not disappointed.

It took a few hours of playing to get to grips with it, 'cos there's lots to be getting on with that isn't in your typical First Person RPG (e.g. Skyrim); but not as much of a stretch as Assassin's Creed (on PC).

Happy to report that it lives up to the hype. It's like being in your own Western film.

I'm still only on Chapter 2 (have to balance Game Time with mastering the Rubik's Cube), but totally hooked.

Just hoping I get my second round of Coronavirus money approved, otherwise work might get in the way...

[-O<

Ever get round to completing this?

I got to Chapter 6 at the end of my first run through, and decided to start fresh and take my time now that I've gotten to grips with the game.

Was savouring my way through Chapter 2 again, when RL events presented something of a distraction.

Given that I'm now firing up a somewhat expensive project for quite a large financial institution, and I'm doing it *ALL* from home... I've had to forbid myself from firing up RDR2 until I've got my MVP up and running.

Couple of weeks should see that done, and I'll be saddling back up!

As brilliant as it was I don’t think I’d get the same enjoyment on a second playthrough, at least not while the narrative is still so fresh in my mind.

I’m giving ‘proper’ gaming a break for a while as like you I’ve got a very busy work schedule on at the moment. Quick blasts only for me at the moment.
