I heard this game came out recently. Heard it's damn good and jolly good fun (if amazingly difficult like games of yore). It's a Contra/Metal Slug style run and gun platform shooter that's artistically drawn like an old Max Fleischer cartoon from the early 1930s. Also jazz band music.

Anyone else heard of it, and if you've tried it, should I get it? It's available for PC and Xbox One.

The new South Park game comes out on the 17th so that will keep me busy a while. For Cuphead, it is on my wishlist and I do plan to get it and probably get pissed off and quit.

I bought it on a whim. It's fucking awesome! It's fucking hard as fuck too!

Beat one of the bosses already named "The Root Pack" a trio of vegetables. Took like 15 tries and was my very first level I picked off the map.

I tried another boss level named "Ribby and Croaks" two giant frogs who near the end turn into a slot machine. The first time I got that far, they spat out a coin that I promptly died to. :))

This is so like old school gaming back in the day! I love it!

I’ve gotten a few hours of play in on this, play it on steam link with a steam controller. The levels are tough as nails to pass, but rewarding when you do. Just look at the art, the perfect original reproduction of early animation, it is frankly amazing.
