With Black Ops 2 campaign behind me I've started playing Forza Horizon campaign. I'm not really into racing games, but this one takes place at a fictitious festival in SomeGuy's part of Colorado. It's open road racing and you have to drive cross country to get from race to race. I drive everywhere like it's a Roman chariot race.

You can even challenge rival drivers from the races when you meet them on the open road. It would have been truly awesome if it had been other players also on the campaign rather then just bots.

First time i played it.

I hesitated to savor the moment and gloat. The game just auto went to sparing Menendez. Who then went on to escape from jail, kill woods and pour gas on himself.

Unhappy with the first ending...
I shot Menendez in the head without hesitation. Then Mason #2 and Woods went to Mason #1's grave and leaves a .45 there for a random person to find. Then some liberal fucktards burn the White House down

In both the Chloe chick had already died. I'm not sure why that's important, or even how I could have saved her. Hell I'm not even sure why she was doing, I'm guessing she was some one of a kind hacker but I'm not sure.

This is one of the few games I've played where I had trouble understanding details of the the plot

So you got the bad endings.

Okay...

To get the good endings, shoot Harper. Make sure you've completed Strike Force successfully aka shot General Zhao. Then spare Menendez at the end. If you shoot Mason anywhere but the head in Panama you'll see something interesting. Also don't shoot Briggs in the face, make sure he lives too.

So I must be getting good at this BF3 multiplayer shite. I'm consistently getting higher ranks (sometimes 3rd or better) at Air Superiority and I'm starting to get the hang of Tank Superiority.

Meanwhile I've not yet perfected the art of staying alive in Rush.

I never liked Rush mode in BFBC2, felt like there was too much random death, I don't feel that way in BF3, although I still enjoy conquest the best.

Do you play on the PC or Console?

360. I can't afford a good PC rig yet even though I'm saving cash to try and get one. (Though consoles have a major advantage in standardization and I like the control schemes better. To me, WASD and mouse controls can be sometimes very finicky and problematic when combat times are measured less than 3 seconds. Not to mention I don't like how oversensitive it is and how you can do an about-face on PC faster than is humanly possible.)

Damn I couldn't be stopped at Air Superiority today. One match had me with 11 kills and ZERO deaths. I only got hit by anything exactly once. Ended up MVP 1 on the stats and I entered the game late.

Da fak?

Also is it me or is Hamas style suicide bombing a fad? People running up to your vehicle slapping down C4 then blowing themselves up. Is that a fad or something?

One more thing, I also shot down an A-10 using the tank's .50 cal in Rush on Kharg Island. Something that is almost impossible to do in reality on account of the A-10 being damnably hard to kill.

Get 90 more kills and you get to call yourself 'Planewhore'.

Anyone here remember that douche?

I remember him. So full of himself and his plane stats. He put up a vid of one of his games, bragging about how leet he was and how no one could bring him down. All I saw was the guy flying back and forth destroying any plane that tried to take off and bombing anything moving on the ground, which included a ton of Tk's. Of course no one could bring him down, they never got a chance to take off, lol. If there were no planes in the air to shoot you down, nothing was going to stop you. The AA? What a joke it was before a few patches sorted it out. That's what made the guy a good troll, cause planewhores at that time were universally hated for their ability to attack without repercussion. Some maps werent even playable because of jackasses like him.

i ALWAYS strap C4 to a jeep and i drive it straight into the uncappable base and blow up everything on the airfield. Shit is entertaining as fuck.

I've never been impressed by "specialists". Especially specialists in an area so dominant as the planes in BF2 and it's unspeakably broken AA. They're the worst of the worst.

Me, I've always been an all-rounder. In '42 I could do the lot. My planes were pretty weak in BF2 simply because the planewhores would hog them all the time due to their dominance. In BF3 I didn't touch planes at all cos I couldn't get my 'stick to work with them. It took me an hour to get it working with helis and I didn't want to fuck up my heli settings to fly a plane.

I could do everything in 42, but didnt fly the jets much in BF2. I've always enjoyed ground pounding the most, though. I only do squad and team matches on BF3, no vehicles. For some reason I cannot stand the vehicles in 3, they just seem clunky and exposed. I've tried exactly 2 times to fly the jets in BF3 and I almost got a kill when I crashed near an enemy tank. Heh, those things are tough to fly.

I've never really enjoyed flying much in any of the BF's, except the B17 in '42 - but only when there wasn't any enemy planes to shoot me down.

The planes in BF3 seem largely detached to the action. They whizz around a lot shooting at each other, but they rarely seem to really have much of a role to play for the team.

I was pretty ace at flying in 42. Not leet like a specialist as Spandex calls them, but I could certainly hold my own in the air. I loved bombing tanks from steep angles and then pulling up just in time. The beezer was cool too. I had a manuever where if a plane got behind me, I'd quickly switch over to the top gun if no one was in it and shoot the fucker down. Didnt work everytime, but it was far better than slowly getting gunned to death while trying to evade a fighter.

I was an all-rounder in the BF series. Usually strong on the ground, weaker in the air. I'd say I was good in Helo's and average in jets. Aces wouldn't struggle to take me out but against your average pilot I'd usually take em out. Tanks and APC's I never met a player I couldn't take out in BF2 and 3. But '42 was a different story...tanks in 42 required more finesse and by the time I started playing it regularly they'd been mastered.

That's what I loved about tank combat in 42, it was hard to get a fix at distance. It's way too easy when the tank shell always fires in a straight line.

Liked the tank battle in BF42, it was less about who sees who first and more about judging range, movement speed etc. But more often than not it would end up a close ranged affair. BF2/3 was all about playing your tank like a ninja or peek and use cover. I used to skirt the edges of firestorm and then "come up the rear" taking out 3/4 tanks from behind. In BF3 if you sneak up behind a tank he's totally f'd.

It doesn't help that their minimum speed is far too fast for the ground attack role. Press Throttle Down all you want and you'll never be slow enough to do a proper gun run or rocket run. (And Guided Missile is very wonky to use. I've used it precisely once to kill a mobile triple-A on Alborz Mountains.)

So I got the G3. What do? I'm hoping to find a rifle I can use the Rifle Scope on and not be over their heads 99% of the time and the G3 I've so far noticed doesn't have much if any bounce up.

Loved the G3.

Had a red dot sight (can never remember the names of the sights - It was one of the non-magnified ones) and bipod for mine. It works just fine without the bipod but hit the deck and deploy the bipod and it's a fuckin deathray.
