This is made by the group I used to work with on Project Reality. It's their first go on their own and rather good although limited in scope right now. Map size and vehicle selection is definitely a work in progress. Not for the Call of Duty crowd for sure.

Its pretty damn good by the way. I've only mooched around the firing range and training ground. If I was getting ready to play in a role, I could see how practising on the range with artillery or mortars could be great prep.

I felt like a mug for around 2 mins when I realised If someone told me it was ArmA3 I was playing, I'd have believed them, but looking forward to it all the same.

Squad comes with this months' (September) Humble Bundle.

So for 7 dollars, you can have it now, and you get a few other things in September.

Me wuvvs the Bundle.

I may have to look into this. Not sure my shitty little laptop can run it but don't have the funds to replace my dead gaming rig anytime soon unfortunately.

I gave Total War Rome II another go yesterday (saw you on Steam btw, Wunder) and as usual with me, had forgotten all the unit controls and keyboard shortcuts.

Net result was a narrow win in the Prologue after the most chaotic clusterfuck battle of the ancient world...and one unit of allied slingers which I totes forgot about.

They should be approaching Finland by now.

Will do. I'm El Sid, same as here. Mind you, I'm rarely on there as I don't play much computer games theses days. I see HM and Silent Trigger on there occasionally.

I saw your post Sid and went to pick up Rome II because I've been itching for some good RTS... $60 on Steam for a game that came out 6 years ago?! WTF

Really, still? Mind you, the Emperor edition comes with three extra DLC campaigns. Still expensive though.

Crumbs, just checked my Steam shop, it's $90AUD here.

@ Pred. You could see if Total War Rome I is still available in the bargain bin. That was bloody good and in some ways better than Rome II.
