My official vote for Bernie Sanders 2020!
Suck it haters!
Had to cover two parts least Hoff use it to submit 100 fake votes with my ID.
Otherwise that's legit
I still don't get why non-party members are allowed to vote for that party's leader. Makes no goddam sense.
An excellent question....
First off let us revisit 2016. The DNC had super delegates, and basically these people are the party elite and they had enough votes that no matter who Democrat voters, actually voted for the party elite had the hands on the controls and could just override the will of the masses with the superdelegates. Think Hillary Clinton who basically had all the superdelegates pledged to her before anyone even started running for 2016.
Now supposedly this has been revamped because of the way they railroaded Bernie Sanders last time, and now these superdelegates supposedly are only used for tiebreaker situations, at least for the first round of voting.
The next time let's explore the states who don't have these open primaries and use the insane caucus system.
It's completely bizarre You just have a bunch of people gather at a location and then some people stand up and make speeches and everybody goes stands in groups and after they eyeball the groups whoever has the biggest group wins.
Now again back to 2016 when there's video evidence at DNC caucuses, in some of the states that do them, of Bernie supporters not having their vote counted and basically being ignored.
Now to the Iowa caucus this year, it was a total shit show, then after days of not knowing what the hell happened documents came forward showing blatant mistakes in math and using the formulas that the people responsible for the caucuses created. But DNC lawyers made the statement that these mistakes cannot be altered, because it's a legal document and that would be a crime.
As far as open primaries, I think 26 states do some form of it. Some people say it's more fair because then you're able to vote for any candidate whether than being locked into a party. I'm sure you could watch a few YouTube videos arguing the pros and cons of each system.
However, let me point out direct statements by people like AOC in the squad, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, the Hag Hillary, and other democratic candidates.
That every person's vote should count, and that people should not be restricted from voting.
So based on this logic, being registered as an independent, it would be voter suppression if I was not giving the option of voting for a Democrat or Republican or anybody else I wanted to.
