I have anxiety Wunder... I would rather be talking/posting while walking rather than having men ogle me... It helps me relax. One of my cousins was raped at a gym years ago... I am taking my daughter tomorrow though so there will be less posts. I am taking the op because I don’t want to be there alone and my Hubby doesn’t talk on the phone often, aside from our lunch conversations. He also doesn’t like to go out to public places often... So I take the op with me everywhere now. It helps with my anxiety. *hug*

Errr, you shouldn't be having issues like that in the gym. Is it a well known chain gym? They are all about making an inclusive environment.

They have women only Gym's here...though nowadays that doesn't mean it's penis free.

I am soooo lucky now. There is a fitness park across the street from my office. 5k run with chin ups and dips on lunch. Come back and ready to go for the PM. So grateful. I hate gyms too...get in and get out. I don't shower unless I use the pool. Fuck that. Shower at home or the office.

Like sprints and plyometrics? No...I vary my pace a bit but that's it. On chin up and dips days I'll run about a 5:30 pace so I'm not panting when I hit the dip and chin up bars...just shoot right into them. Right now I'm at 5 sets of 10 dips (will probably up it to 12 starting today) and 5 sets of 6 chins (chins are fucking hard but I'm seeing reps increase now) I do that about 2 times a week. Then I do usually one faster paced run at about 5 minute per km. Then a slower relaxed run at whatever feels good..anywhere up to 5:45 splits. That's about it for the week. Cause I'm barefoot I have to be careful about tacking on pace too much. When I go for a really quick pace I break shit.

Nah, drills are more of a technique and mobility thing, do them once warm as the end of a warm up. On train right now so will post later, in the mean time look up (YouTube will be great), running 'A skip'. 'B skip and 'C skip', could be called a drill, b drill etc. Simple but awesome. I'd assess someone on their ability to do them, then and there.
