Out-Out tonight, back at dawn... Can watch Argentina v. Tonga as we chill.

Hosts vs. #1 Team looks like being a good show.

I have heard a few of them speak Japanese really well...their Captain is pretty fluent...certainly speaks like someone who has lived there a long time.

Missed it.

Not wholly surprised though... Had a suspicion Home Advantage might carry the day...

Well done Japan.

Yea, awesome game from Japan, obviously gutted to loose but they just out played us. Can't complain about that but we can't afford any more mistakes.

New Zealand 63 - Canada 0

To be fair to the Canucks: they played well; they were just up against the best team of all time.

Doesn't really bother me too much. The All Blacks *ARE* the greatest RU team of all time... So to the victor the spoils.

I just watched “Last Flight of the Vulcan” (or something like that) and learned that a Falkland Islands runway is the only thing it ever bombed.

@Junior:

Relying on your mob to take the All Blacks out of the running.

Don't let me down!

MMMMMMMMM, I wouldn't put any money on it if I were you.

A Scottish man walks in to a bar, there would usually be an Irish man & English man at this point, but they're still in Japan

I concur.

The Springboks' blood is up after the NZ match.

And where the Tier 1 teams have been known to be complacent when facing lower tier teams like Japan, the Japanese victory over Ireland means SA will be preparing for a Tier 1 match.

That said...

I've been gob-smacked by Japan's ball-handling In-Game. Never seen anything like it... Well, not so consistently. The French can really dazzle if they're in the mood, but they're rarely in the mood. But the Japanese team seem to have built their Game around their incredible ball-handling capability.

On the other hand, SA's defensive game is one of the best in World Rugby (where Ireland for example is a bit weaker in that regard). The Japanese Backs are lightning-quick... But unless they've developed the ability to phase-shift through solid objects (Springbok Forwards...), they might be up against it...

But as far as "Irresistible Force" (Japan) vs. "Immovable Object" (SA) goes... I think it's going to be quite the spectacle.

(And England better trample the Wallabies too..!)
