Also, saw my first 11 foot tall transvestite the same year in London. I still have nightmares about that.

So keep it under 10ft for your comfort zone you're saying?

I'm betting yours can handle some serious stretching.

Apologies for not joining this thread sooner. :(

You're fully welcome to use the Holy-Farm as your Base of Operations whilst you're in the Motherland: we gots plenty of space. And we're about 45 minutes from Heathrow Airport, where I usually fly in and out of.

Try and program in at least a couple of nights in the Chilterns. It's as good an RV as anywhere, 'cos we're half-way (-ish) between Birmingham and London. Make it an OP'Fest.

Let us know when you know!

Thanks! Will keep the wheels in motion on this until it’s too hard to back out, and then I’ll just have to go.

Would like to take some seaside photos too.

Not been, but I'm sure its good.

This is the biggest one
https://www.farnboroughairshow.com/

Actually, Bournemouth are saying they are the biggest, and not far from where you'll be in the West Country
https://bournemouthair.co.uk/

The same planes would fly along my beach on the way to the Shoreham airshow, so was cool to get a free flyby, but then this happened....

There's a pub on the outskirts of the airport where I watched it from a few years back. Fantastic day.

You should go to the Farnborough air show as it's very good and has nothing to do with the fact my mother in law lives within walking distance and has a spare room where I can sleep off the booze.

Makes sense.
