Thanks. I try to get out of the horror / scifi genre, but it's hard for me to get interested in anything...ordinary.
Anyway. I'll give these a chance.

Biographies are great, but the character must be insane or about some band :)) All in all crazy people are fascinating.

Great biography is Papillon, made 2 movies of it but they don’t do it justice, slow paced but when you finish it, it’s only of those “fuck me” moments.

Throw in Banco and you the the full story of his fucked up life.

How’s about Historical Fiction.

Patrick O'Brian Master and Commander series is awesome, got some great lingo in it, and high seas adventure.

Thanks. Gotta check some of these.

Just trying to toss out some favorite Sci-fi/fantasy writers of mine that are well less known.

:-?

I’ll have a look through my personal library, to refresh my memory when I get a chance, although my main Library is in Colorado so I don’t currently have access to it.

I've recently read The Tipping Point and currently reading Freakonomics. Both interesting and very easy to read.

You might check out James S. A. Corey, who is actually two writers. The Expanse tv show is based on their books. I’m planning on reading, but the TV show is too good to spoil, so I’m waiting a bit

Future Shock.

A few decades old now but still hugely relevant.

I've been a fan of John Ringo for SF/Military fiction for years. Just finished this series;

Bloody good stories no matter if fiction or not.

I've read all the books 3 times over the years. Still love them.
