That shit is dirtier than the treated sewage by the time it gets down the Seal Beach dragging all of the grime, garbage and pollution from the street runoff from Riverside and Los Angeles.

Don't forget about the all the shit flowing downstream from the bum camps too!

Also Mexico!

My city doesn't have separate bills for water and garbage collection they're both combined into the same bill.

Because I live in an apartment now, some if not all the apartments around here don't have individual metering of water let alone garbage production. I pay rent, (which apparently is soon to be under commie rent control btw), The rent is the same every month regardless of how much water I use or trash I produce.

Ah - so it's not that it's free free, but rather included in a fixed regular bill. Unlimited water at a fixed price doesn't sound like something that would discourage consumption!

We've recently had a 'smart meter' installed in our home which shows your electricity consumption and estimated cost, either at that particular moment in time or over the course of a day. Sure does focus the mind when you see the 'cost per hour' go up when switching on various things!

Speaking of piss.....

Watching some survival shows or movies I always wondered when you are in one of those situations where you are stuck in a lifeboat and the fresh waters runs out and it's to the point where you need to drink piss In hopes of surviving should you...

Not pee as long as humanly possible, to keep the water in your body for as long as possible and hope your body reabsorbs some of it?

or go ahead and pee normally so that the concentration of salts and toxins in the pee you'll be drinking is not super concentrated and not as toxic?

(I've heard hydration fanatics is saying if you pee and it's not clear, but any shade of yellow you're not drinking enough,)

I'd like to get this answer from an actual survival specialist. I'm guessing if I just ask a random doctor they would give some off the cuff answer which would Not necessarily be the best course of action and an actual survival situation.

Also in the same survival situation are you best off drinking your own piss, or should everybody pass the bottle to the left, is it less toxic to drink someone else's?

:-?

What about other people's blood? Is it saltier or less salty than pee?

That too. I'd heard previously it's not drinkable because of the salt content, but then I've seen movies where they drink dude's blood to survive in the lifeboat.

What if you sawed off the top of a guy's skull and pulled out his brain, then squeezed the brain like an orange?

Yes, you can drink your own pee to survive, but I wouldn't drink it past a certain point. From the shows I use to watch you can drink it when it's clear, if you are dehydrated and the piss it to concentrated it just makes the dehydration worse. Some of them say drink it in the first stages, before concentration, others say don't drink it at all. I do know that if you ARE going to drink your own piss, drink it when it is clear, as it is less concentrated medically speaking.
