just do it. I reckon the ride isn't over yet. give it a year and nerds will likely pick up on it again. I mean, your 200 may prolly only turn into 400 or 600 but still

If you spend it at a casino, they'll give you free drinks.

Just sayin'.

What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places—and there are so many—where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvellous victory." - Howard Zinn

Bitcoin, for all of its sophistication, was so poorly engineered that the more popular it grew, the less usable it became. This was true as far back as 2016, when block sizes were artificially kept small, apparently to appease Chinese miners. Refusing to deal with the issue caused a chronic slowdown in validation speed that made it ever more useless as a functional currency.

Bitcoin’s terrible 2018 doesn’t bode well for the future of crypto

Obviously it's got something to do with colorfago.

Next it has to have a bit of SG pic.

Maybe him fighting a bear, an abonimable snowman and a ferret.

No, it's very "secure." Probably half of all existing Bitcoin is lost forever due to hard drive crashes and forgotten passwords :))

On the bright side, those people were gonna lose all their money eventually anyway.

What kind of system/network/security administration do they have if they can't circumvent a measly password in case of emergency?

Obviously something built in the 1980s.

The whole premise would be bunk if you could circumvent the password (private key). Bunk. Obviously, one person dying resulting in millions lost is a negative to wasting your money on this shit. I'm gonna buy bars of gold instead.
