Spotted on my morning walkies. Note the seat is not a council one, but a gift from a member of the public. We have a weatherproof box nearby, where we swap books too. Hobart is a nice place.

Seems like Vancouver Island, where everything/everyone is slower and less annoying than on the mainland. My retirement goal...

Some of them up your crap, as they're businesses & restaurants. Other than more scenic points of interest

I have a Google phone so it's whatever software they have loaded on it talk to Google.

mostly people are interested in going to have a lunch or dinner somewhere and so that's what they check.

One if my friends just sent me an angry message about my DMV pic getting 55,000 views.

What can I say to the haters, I'm just trying to make a difference. :)

If you scroll down far enough there's some pics of an aerospace museum you might find interesting Sid.

Thanks Middy, like I said on my PM, cool beans. Keep it up, it's appreciated, by me and others I'm sure (as the views show). Ignore the haters, man, they stew in their own juices, literally.

Oh and if you get a decent shot of something that might be of use, share it with Wikipedia articles, on their Creative Commons. I do and have had lots of articles with my photos embedded. They sometimes tend to get booted off, as someone else edits the page, but who cares, I'm over edit wars and such silliness. >:D<

That reminds me, we had an owl come into our yard the other night, first time ever. He liked the kids' play structure.

Have yet to see an owl here in Tassie. They were common at my farm on the mainland, especially when the huge Bogong moths came out. You'd see a flash of movement out the front wall-to-ceiling windows at night, as an owl scooped up a few that were drawn to our lights. No noise, totally silent.

We had 2 of them turn up at our door last week & got Mrs Junior. They started asking her lots of daft questions ( I think they aren't allowed to speak to kids here by law) so they asked Mrs Junior if she was over 18? "No" she replied, despite being well over 40.

The 2 young lads didn't know what to say, they were too young to have the confidence to say "of course you're over 18" so they just froze then asked if her dad was in. "No but Santa's in the kitchen" then they left......... I love my wife.

Haven’t actually seen any in years. This probably isn’t the best place to be one.

Castle Sid is marked on all religious black books as, "Satan lives there". B-)

I've seen the Mormons make their way up past my place and just skip over without trying. lol

Nikon vs. iPhone 7:

Interesting how the iPhone loses all that nice blue. More dramatic but not accurate at all.
